GramstoCup.co is an independent kitchen conversion resource operated and reviewed by William Leo. The site's purpose is simple: give cooks a clear answer while showing the ingredient, cup standard and assumptions behind it.
How our conversions are created
We do not use one generic grams-to-cups factor. Each ingredient has a documented grams-per-US-cup value and a defined state, such as packed brown sugar or spooned all-purpose flour. The converter, tables, structured data and downloadable dataset are generated from that same central record.
Our source policy
King Arthur Baking is our main baking-weight reference. NIST is used for the US customary cup volume, and USDA FoodData Central supports food data outside the main baking chart. These references and limitations are recorded in our downloadable methodology PDF.
Editorial review
William Leo reviews pages for arithmetic, consistent ingredient names, visible assumptions and useful measuring guidance. The last-reviewed date is shown on editorial pages. If you find a possible error, email gramstocupteam@gmail.com with the page URL and the value you want us to check.
What we do not claim
GramstoCup.co does not claim that one published cup weight is universal for every brand or measuring method. Our job is to choose a defensible working reference, name the ingredient state and apply it consistently. When sources use different standards, we explain the difference instead of hiding it.
